This 1.5 mile course begins and ends at Main Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue in historic downtown Franklin. The route continues to the Post Office, turning left onto Jackson Street, then right onto High Street. Runners continue past the old railroad tracks and make a left onto Beamon Street and a left turn into Poplar Springs Cemetery, following the public access road behind the cemetery and back onto High Street. The course then reverses back through High Street to Jackson Street, with a finish from the Post Office back to the Start/Finish Line at Main Street.

This course has mixed terrain with the majority on paved roads and portions on grass and gravel paths through the cemetery. Total elevation is 36 feet.
