Join us for the City of Franklin Trick or Trot 5K & Pumpkin Dash in historic Downtown Franklin, Virginia. Get your Halloween hustle on for the Trick or Trot 5K race. Take an un-boo-lievable run from historic downtown Franklin through the city cemetery, to the hospital and back. The 1.5 mile Pumpkin Dash is open to all ages. Families and children are encouraged! Dress in your favorite costume and walk, jog, or run in this family friendly fun race through downtown Franklin to the cemetery and back. Proceeds from this event beneft the Franklin and Southampton County communities with programs from the United Way and the Department of Parks and Recreation.

Trick or Trot 5K Details
Get your Halloween hustle on at the City of Franklin Trick or Trot 5K race. Take an un-boo-lievable run from historic downtown Franklin through the city cemetery, to the hospital and back. Runners of all ages are welcome!
Packet Pick-Up
There are two options to pick up your race packet - in advance the night before the event or in the morning prior to the race.

Pumpkin Dash Details
The 1.5 mile Pumpkin Dash is open to all ages. Families and children are encouraged! Dress in your favorite costume and walk, jog, or run in this family friendly fun race through downtown Franklin to the cemetery and back.
Before & After Activities
Join us before the races for music and warm-up activities at the grass lot beside the Busy Bee near the Start/Finish Line. Post-Race activities include awards, music, food, and lawn games. Head to the Farmer's Market afterwards for more food, fun and family activities!

Costume Contest
All registered participants of the Trick or Trot 5K race and the Pumpkin Dash are eligible to enter the costume contest. Costumes will be judged prior to the races and prizes will be awarded during the post race event.
